Everyone loves a good brow. Believe it or not, eyebrows actually determine a lot about how your overall face is perceived. Don’t believe me? Have you ever seen a person with no eyebrows? 😳 It’s the thing that you didn’t know that you needed until you don’t have any anymore .
That is my story.
Back in the 90’s thin eyebrows were in and I was born with super thick bushy, almost borderline unibrow, eyebrows. Ironically the same eyebrows that I would LOVE to have today, were the same eyebrows I let a silly trend make me despise.
I thought that I needed to “fix” my eyebrows and so I did like any other teen in the early 2000’s would do, I waxed them into a nice thin arched line every two weeks.
They never grey back the same again.
Fast forward to today, my poor eyebrows won’t even grow in all the way. The over waxing caused damage to my hair follicles and as a result I now have extremely sparse natural eyebrows.
Thanks to modern technology (i.e. brown liners) I can fill in the weak areas of my eyebrows and keep my confidence!
